Greg grew up in Belleville, IL. He served in the Army and was deployed three times with the 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. Upon leaving the Army, he attended Seattle University and earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering. Greg moved back to Missouri and designed abrasive blast equipment and then landed a position with Garry Hodges as an Applications Engineer. Greg was introduced to VRSB by Garry which allowed him to get into smoking. Greg likes learning, giving back, and is a huge believer in VRSB's mission. 

Robert Winter, also known as Hunk of Ham was introduced to VRSB and smoking meats by Garry Hodges. He started volunteering with VRSB to learn more about smoking meats while giving back to our veterans. Rob ended up meeting some great people and decided to volunteer to support VRSB's mission to serve our veterans and the local community.
